Birthday Gift Guide
Chocolate, coffee, tea and savory snacks fill most of the birthday boxes and trays Hazelton's customers picked from Jan 2023 to Sep 2026. Here they are in two price groups, each with its contents and a quick way to find the first day it can reach the person celebrating.
- Hand delivery the same day only in New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area, ordered before 11 a.m. local time
- Courier to the rest of the US on weekdays
- No delivery charge from $100 per address, outside Hawaii and Alaska
- Alcohol in a gift means a recipient aged 21+ with photo ID
Will it arrive in time for the birthday?
Enter the ZIP code of the person celebrating to see the earliest day a gift can be there. If the birthday is further off, set that date at checkout.
Hand delivery on the same day runs only in New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area; the rest of the country is reached by courier on weekdays.
How birthday gifts travel

Choosing a birthday gift
Sweet tooth or snacker
For someone who prefers salty food, the Birthday Market Tray with Snacks sets gouda, olives, antipasto and truffle salami beside chips and crackers. For a chocolate lover, the Birthday Bash Gourmet Chocolate and Honey Gift Box stacks white, dark and milk chocolate bars with truffles, vanilla chai and honey.
Tea or coffee
The Deluxe Chocolate and Tea Birthday Gift Basket pairs cream vanilla black tea with almond cookies and a dark chocolate bar. Coffee drinkers get dark roast with chocolate blueberries and dried mangoes in the Birthday White Chocolate Popcorn Tray.
Something to keep
A few boxes leave a keepsake once the treats are gone: a black and gold mug in the Birthday Folding Box Gift Basket with Coffee and Chocolates, a floral travel cup in the Birthday White Chocolate and Truffles Gift Basket and the Birthday Assorted Chocolates Gift Set.
A smaller gesture
At $59.99, the Birthday Celebration Chocolate and Tea Box brings strawberry tea, truffles and white chocolate shaped like high heels in a pink box.
Aim for the day itself
Set the birthday as the delivery date at checkout so the gift does not turn up early. Hand delivery on the same day happens only in New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area. Elsewhere the courier needs business days and does not run at the weekend, which matters: 20% of birthday orders were placed on a Saturday or Sunday.
Wine is the exception
Wine went into 1% of birthday orders from Jan 2023 to Sep 2026 and sparkling wine into fewer still, against 30% and 15% of all orders. If you want a bottle in the gift, the person receiving it must be 21+ and show photo ID.
Birthdays at work
Most birthday gifts here are personal: businesses sent 11% of birthday orders from Jan 2023 to Sep 2026, against 34% of all orders from 2023 to 2025. For a colleague's or a client's birthday, the corporate gifting and bulk discount pages explain how company orders work.
